In a move that highlights his continued commitment to national dialogue and unity, former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi visited two prominent Nigerian leaders on Sunday, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the newly installed Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.
Obi was accompanied by Dr. Yunusa Tanko, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, and Segun Adebanjo. The group paid courtesy visits to both leaders, engaging in what Obi later described as meaningful discussions about Nigeria’s future.
Sharing details through his official Facebook page, Obi explained that the conversations focused on the current state of the nation and the urgent need to promote unity, fairness, justice, and mutual love among citizens.
“In both visits, we were fortunate to discuss the state of our nation and how all of us can live in unity, love, fairness, and justice progressively together,” Obi stated.
He further emphasized that these engagements deepened his belief in the possibility of a better Nigeria, one that can be built through the collective efforts of competent, compassionate, and visionary leadership.
These visits come at a time when the country faces numerous challenges and the call for inclusive governance and national healing continues to grow louder.
