Paul Ibe, Media Adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has made a striking statement suggesting that Atiku deserves a Nobel Prize for his repeated attempts to become Nigeria’s President.

Ibe emphasized that Atiku’s persistence in pursuing the presidency is a testament to his commitment to serving the nation. “Atiku Abubakar should get a Nobel Prize for that,” Ibe said, highlighting Atiku’s determination and willingness to offer his services to Nigeria.

Atiku has been a presidential aspirant multiple times, with some sources indicating he has contested five times since 2007. Ibe pointed out that Atiku was already a billionaire before becoming Nigeria’s Vice President in 1999, showcasing his financial capability and leadership skills. Atiku single handedly bought Wadata Plaza for the PDP, demonstrating his wealth and commitment to the party.

Atiku’s media aide also addressed concerns about Atiku stepping down for a younger aspirant, clarifying that reports of Atiku’s intention to step down were misinterpreted. Ibe emphasized that Atiku believes in democratic principles, saying “the more the merrier” when it comes to presidential aspirants, and that everyone should test their popularity.

Atiku is yet to formally declare his interest in the 2027 presidential election, with Ibe stating that his principal is focusing on building a strong political platform. This move is seen as a strategic step towards positioning himself for the upcoming election. Atiku’s determination to serve the nation is evident in his repeated attempts to become President.

The former Vice President’s commitment to democratic principles is commendable, and his willingness to test his popularity among Nigerians is a testament to his confidence in his leadership abilities. As the country looks towards the 2027 presidential election, Atiku’s aspirations are likely to generate significant interest and debate.

Atiku’s media aide has urged Nigerians to support his principal’s aspirations, citing his wealth of experience and leadership skills. With Atiku’s history of public service and his commitment to Nigeria’s development, his presidential ambitions are likely to be closely watched by many.
