10 Daily Actions You Can Take Starting Now To Be Happy

There are many opportunities in each day to be happy.

Daily happiness is possible with the support of a few personal tips which are within each person’s reach. The best part is that one happiness habit is enough to give the level of happiness of ten.

You don’t have to use all of them. You can find one that resonates with you and that will make all the difference.

Don’t miss out on these 5 common ways to naturally boost Serotonin “the positive energy” hormone.

1. Positive evenings

When you get home from work, talk about the best thing that has happened during your day. Talk about it in detail without complaints or exceptions. Make it a negativity-free zone. However your day was, start your evening on a positive note.

2. Always have a project you’re working on

Give yourself a project to work on daily. It can be something that will add up to a big project or simply put your strengths or talents to use.

3. Choose

Have an affirmation each morning that you whisper to yourself. Let that dictate what you focus on the whole day. It can be an activity, a mental or emotional experience. Every time you fulfill it, the better you get at harnessing your will-power.

4. Fuel

Consume food that leaves you feeling energised and good. It may take a few tries, however, start by cutting out foods that leave you feeling sick and tired. Apply the same principle to other things you consume like information or entertainment. Whatever feels bad, leave that alone. Whatever doesn’t empower your choices, scroll on.

5. Release

Get an activity to release the emotion and strain you have accumulated through the day or a particular period of the day. Exercise can be in any format as long as it helps you drain out pent-up emotion and tension.

6. Expectation

Place your expectations on your strengths, abilities, and a realistic view of the world around you. Lowering your expectations doesn’t mean you lower your standards. However, it reduces your chances of being affected by things you cannot control.

7. Compare yourself to yourself

We are creatures of comparison. This can be detrimental if used to compare oneself to others. However, applying comparison to your life can boost your perspective and release anxiety.

Compare your priorities with your insecurities, your strengths to your weaknesses, resources and your problems, etc. It boosts the mindset to make decisions.

8. Practice your belief or faith

Your beliefs influence your behaviour and actions. Practicing what you believe boosts your faith OR worldview and aligns you with valuable principles that are essential to mental and emotional well-being. However, don’t expect other people to see the world or accept your faith as you do.

9. De-clutter your surrounding

Maintain an organised, spacious, and clean environment. It boosts feelings of relaxation and order.

10. Try things to test them out

Let your curiosity drive you, within reason. Explore ideas, things, and mechanics of things to discover or prove them.
