Saudi Clubs are said to be heavily interested in acquiring the services of Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong (Govima Sport Reports)

Saudi Clubs are interested in bringing Nigeria stand in captain William Troost-Ekong to the Middle East. Troost-Ekong caught the attention of clubs in Saudi due to his impressive performances so far in the AFCON tournament.

The Defender currently plies his trade at PAOK FC in Greece and he’s been leading PAOK to top of Greek Super League and Europe Conference League, in the on going season.

It’s believed that he’s very happy there — but the Saudi interest for summer transfer is very strong.

Transfer Guru Fabrizio confirmed the interest.

Troost-Ekong is expected to lead Nigeria out against Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday when the Super Eagles of Nigeria take on the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire in the final contest of the AFCON 2023 tournament.

The Defender will be much focused on the task at hand for the moment amid the recent speculation about his future at his club.
