Handball: Nigeria’s women handball team began their campaign in the IHF Women’s Trophy Intercontinental Phase holding in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with a 28-23 victory over Guadalupe.
The Coach Shittu Adewunmi Agboola tutored side started out with the determination that made them Africa champion in the IHF Trophy as they took the first half effortlessly with 16-9 win over Guadaloupe.
The second half was a tough and Nigeria had to really dig deep to ensure they win the match 28-23
