Are you an AFRICAN startup, and gamed to shine the African light on a global stage? Then here is an opportunity for you as Bloomberg is out to shine a spotlight on what you do.

Bloomberg has announced in October, the launch of its inaugural “AFRICA Startups to Watch List.” Two decades ago, an African company transformed hashtagmobilemoney, enabling millions to access hashtagbanking without a solid financial hashtaginfrastructure.

Today, AFRICA still faces significant challenges, raging from providing hashtagelectricity to 600 million people, tackling hashtagclimate change, and increasing agricultural productivity.

However, the continent’s startups are now leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including generative artificial intelligence to address these issues and improve the lives of its hashtagyouthful hashtagpopulation.

Bloomberg has announced that, for the FIRST time, it is on the lookout for the most innovative founders and ideas from across hashtagAFRICA.

This presents a global stage for who the cap fit of Africa to shine!

  • What to Submit: If your startup is designed to address Africa’s challenges, features a unique idea that has attracted investors and customers, and is privately held, we invite you to apply! Tell us how your product is performing and share details about any external funding you’ve secured.

    Deadline: Submit your application by November 8
  • The selected startups will be unveiled in the FIRST quarter of 2025, with profiles featured on hashtag#BloombergTV and its other platforms.

Bloomberg is seeking thorough qualitative information that highlights:

  • Customer demand, and
