Funke Akindele, a renowned Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has spoken out against movie piracy while promoting her upcoming film, Everybody Loves Jenifa.
The movie is set to hit cinemas on December 13, 2024.
Akindele expressed confidence that the film will break box office records, predicting it will rake in N5 billion in ticket sales. She attributed her optimism to her signature marketing style and extensive promotion.
The actress also used the opportunity to urge the audience to combat piracy, which significantly impacted her previous film, A Tribe Called Judah. Akindele appealed to the public to protect her new movie from piracy.
