Tiwa Savage, the “Somebody’s Son” crooner, received a heroic welcome as she returned to Nigeria after a long absence.
A crowd of fans and well-wishers gathered at the airport, armed with trumpets and drums, to celebrate her return.
The music star, who had been away from home for quite a while, was showered with praise and admiration as she made her way to her car. The crowd sang her praises and played lively music to welcome her back.
In a show of appreciation, Tiwa Savage gifted the crowd N1 million. A video showed one of the recipients flaunting the cash after Tiwa Savage had departed for her destination.
