Aleph, Pinterest Partners To Connect Businesses To Consumers In Nigeria, Expand Sales In Africa, Asia, Middle East And LATAM Markets

“More Nigerians – 13.9% of the country’s internet users – are turning to platforms like Pinterest for content. While messaging remains the main social media use case, there is a growing diversity with new users leveraging these platforms for entrepreneurial ventures and opportunities.

Our partnership aims to harness the potential of this expanding market and link local businesses with consumers in search of inspiration and products.

Aleph is announcing a sales partnership that will expand Pinterest’s digital advertising solutions to 11 new markets across LATAM, Asia, the Middle East and Africa: Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, India, Israel, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, South Africa and Turkey.

The partnership will avail Aleph to serve as Pinterest’s sales vendor in countries across Central and Eastern Europe, including Cyprus, Czechia, Hungary, Greece, Malta, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

As a leading visual search and discovery platform with over half a billion global monthly active users, Pinterest has become one of the top destinations for brands trying to reach customers looking to shop.

In the expression of Matt Hogle, Vice President of Global SMB Sales at Pinterest: “We’re excited to expand Pinterest’s ads business into 11 new markets via our partnership with Aleph. For the first time, brands in these markets will be able to reach millions of Pinterest users who come to the platform with a passion for discovering new ideas and the commercial intent to bring those ideas to life.”

Building on past relationship, Aleph first partnered with Pinterest in 2023 to help brands in selected countries launch cross-border advertising campaigns on the platform. Under this new expanded partnership, Aleph will be working with Pinterest to expand into 11 new markets in LATAM, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
