The separation between Nigerian singer 2Baba and his wife, Annie Idibia, has been a topic of discussion for days.
Recently, a video surfaced of a discussion on the separation, where presenter Morayo Brown and her colleagues shared their opinions.
While some presenters expressed disappointment in 2Baba’s announcement, colleague Nyma Akashat Zibiri shared a different opinion. Zibiri noted that Annie was aware of 2Baba’s polygamous nature when she married him.
According to Zibiri, Annie should have managed her expectations and focused on herself and her kids. “You married a polygamist… what was your expectation? Perfection? Faithfulness? No… when you manage your expectations, you will focus on what you need to focus on,” she said.
Zibiri added that Annie should have been prepared for the challenges that come with marrying someone with 2Baba’s past. “He was flawed from head to toe… carry the cross and carry it well,” she said.
