APC Youths Wing In Zamfara Rebuts Sen. Kaura Recall Allegations

The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youths Wing Vanguard in Zamfara state, Alhaji Ashiru Tukur and Engr Garba Shafi’i, have officially disassociated themselves and their supporters from a purported plot to recall Senator Sahabi Ya’u Kaura from the Senate.

Speaking to the press on Sunday, they labeled the recall rumors as a malicious effort by disgruntled elements aiming to destabilize the APC’s unity in Zamfara state.

The group leaders stated, “We disassociate ourselves, our good members of the party from all the four local governments of Shinkafi, Kaura Namoda, Zurmi, and Birnin Magaji from this political blunder orchestrated to destroy our unity and stability in the zone and state in general.”

The recall plot was described as a “huge joke taken too far,” allegedly devised to undermine common interests and create confusion within the APC in Zamfara state. They accused Alhaji Sani Jaji, a House of Representatives member for Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji constituency, of aligning with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in this scheme to cause instability.

The APC Youths Wing praised Senator Kaura’s contributions, highlighting his dedication to developmental projects, peace, and political cohesion in the Zamfara North senatorial zone. They refuted all accusations against him as unfounded propaganda designed to tarnish his image and disrupt his legislative duties.

Senator Kaura’s efforts, according to the group, have reduced poverty and improved the well-being of Zamfara residents through various empowerment programs. These initiatives include financial support for medium-scale businesses, job creation, and distributing millions in palliatives such as food and clothing. Additionally, his projects have enhanced education standards, hospital services, and infrastructure development in the region.

The group’s leaders stated the numerous accomplishments under Senator Kaura’s tenure, such as the employment of over 100 youths in federal agencies, construction and rehabilitation of hospitals, and provision of essential healthcare materials.

They also noted his role in implementing solar street lights and road construction projects that have greatly benefited rural communities.

The APC Youths Wing reaffirmed their loyalty and support for Senator Sahabi Kaura and the party’s leadership in Zamfara state.

They urged the youth to remain vigilant against political elites using them for propaganda and to focus on fostering unity and development for the betterment of the state.
