On Monday, parents of Nigerian students studying abroad, on Scholarship blocked the Entrance of the Federal ministry of Finance in Abuja. They are requesting the payment of unpaid allowances owed to their children. Weeks after the federal government pledged to curb the rising cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), commonly known as cooking gas, the commodity remains expensive across Abuja and beyond.
