The World Anti-Doping Agency said it has referred the national anti-doping agencies of Nigeria and Venezuela to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over their alleged non-compliance. WADA  Sanctioned the agencies in November for failing to address “critical requirements”. Both agencies have disputed WADA’s allegations. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to hold an emergency meeting to decide whether to extend Jose Peseiro’s contract with the Super Eagles or allow him to leave following the conclusion of the 34th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).  As earlier reported, Peseiro’s initial contract was extended to after the AFCON as stipulated in his deal, which was expected to have ended last year if the championship had been held as scheduled from January to February 2023. The Nigeria Premier Football League have announced the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium as the venue of the final of the Youth League NPFL Youth League Chairman Emeka Inyama made the disclosure in Abuja on Tuesday.
