Basketball: D’Tigress Defeated Senegal To Kickoff Olympic Qualifications With A Win

Basketball Olympics Qualifying campaign has started and Nigeria’s Women Basketball team D’Tigress Began on a winning note after defeating Senegal in the first game in Brussels (Govima Sport Reports)

D’Tigress started the game quite well winning the first quarter 20:18 point however their counterpart from Senegal took the game to a new turn winning the second quarter by a landslide 28:17.

At the end of the third quarter, the Nigerian ladies won but were trailing by 8 points 49:57.

With only a quarter to go, D’Tigress produced a remarkable ball playing skills to score in quick succession taking the total points to 72:65 and ultimately sealing their first group game.





D’Tigress currently lead group 2 and will be next in action tomorrow when they face off against USA ladies by 6:15pm Nigerian time.
