The cast members of Funke Akindele’s upcoming movie, ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’, have come together to create a festive song titled ‘Everybody Loves Christmas’.
The song, which serves as the original soundtrack for the film, was released on Tuesday.
The five-minute single features an ensemble of talented artists, including Bisola Aiyeola, Layi Wasabi, Funke Akindele, Falz, Juliana Olayode, Nancy Isime, and Waje, each delivering their unique verses. D’banj adds his signature melodies to the track, while Jide Kosoko makes a surprise appearance as Santa Claus, showcasing his rap skills. Patience Ozokwo also contributes to the song with her rendition in Igbo.
‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ is the latest installment in the popular Jenifa franchise, which began in 2008. The new movie boasts a star-studded cast, including Layi Wasabi, Nancy Isime, Jackie Appiah, Falz, Omowunmi Dada, Chimezie Imo, Ozokwo, and Stan Nze. ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ is set to premiere in cinemas on December 13.
