CSP Dolapo Badmos Opeyemi, a former Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 2 and Lagos State Commands, has extended a compassionate gesture towards an elderly couple in need.
In response to a poignant video she came across on Facebook, where the elderly pair was seen embroiled in an argument over food, CSP Badmos was deeply moved.
In the video shared on her Instagram account, the elderly woman was heard pleading with her husband for money to purchase food, lamenting the lack of support from their children and the destruction of her shop. Witnessing their plight, CSP Badmos was overcome with emotion.
Expressing her concern and determination to assist, she vowed to provide the elderly couple with sustenance for an entire year from her own salary. Urging anyone with information about the couple’s whereabouts to come forward, she emphasized the urgent need to extend a helping hand to them.
Moved by the distressing situation, CSP Badmos is committed to alleviating the couple’s struggles and ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
