Emilio Nsue The Hatrick Hero As Equatorial Guinea Ran Riot To Go Top Of Group A

Equatorial Guinea ran riot as they comfortably over ride namesake Guinea Bissau in a 4:2 win on Thursday afternoon.

It was rain of goals in the group A second game encounter at the on going AFCON 2023.

Nsue was the one who drew the first blood for the Equatorial Guineans before an own goal by Esteban Orosco brought Guinea Bissau back into the game. It ended 1:1 in half time.

However things turned out pretty quickly in the second half as Equatorial Guinea get back in front when Miranda found the back of the net in the 46th minutes.





Five minutes later, thunder struck twice as Emilio Nsue scored two goals in quick succession to take the game out of reach of their opponent.

Guinea Bissau kept pressing on to drive their way back into the game but rather is was too late as they could only add a goal in the 93rd minutes courtesy of Ze Turbo to make the scoreline 4:2.

It was a beautiful game of football indeed between the two name sake countries but in the end one Guinea on the Equator stood out to emerge victors.

Equatorial Guinea now poised to make the knock out round if their fellow group participants Nigeria faulters against Cote d’Ivoire.
