Verto, the pioneering brand behind this initiative, is a global financial technology firm dedicated to facilitating cross-border payments, foreign exchange (FX), and banking solutions for businesses of all sizes.

Through its cutting-edge platform or API, Verto empowers businesses to effortlessly access enterprise-grade financial services, allowing them to accept payments and execute payouts on a global scale through a single integrated platform. Verto’s seamless connectivity ensures that businesses can transact efficiently and securely, regardless of their location.

The official launch of Verto Atlas, the latest offering from the fintech firm, was celebrated at the prestigious Lagos Continental Hotel, located on Victoria Island. During the event, Ola Oyetayo, one of the co-founders of Verto, shared insights into the inspiration behind the development of this innovative solution.

Oyetayo highlighted the pressing need for sustainable forex solutions to support cross-border trade, emphasising Verto’s commitment to addressing this challenge.

Anthony Oduu, another co-founder of Verto, elaborated on the features of Verto Atlas in an interview with GOVIMA following the launch event.

He explained that the platform includes a virtual card feature, allowing users to load funds in their local currency while seamlessly converting them to the desired currency for transactions with sellers. This functionality streamlines the forex process for users, enabling them to conduct business transactions with greater ease and efficiency.

“It has a virtual card; you can load in your local currency while we convert to whatever currency the seller wants you to pay with.

“With this, you don’t need a forex Card or something; your naira can do the purchase,” he concluded
