I’ll Defeat Anthony Joshua In Nigeria, Says Kingsley Ibeh

Nigerian born heavyweight boxer Kingsley Ibeh has declared that he would knock out former world champion Anthony Joshua if both fighters ever meet, even if the match takes place in Nigeria.

Ibeh made the bold claim while speaking to sports reporters about his rising career and ambition to face one of boxing’s biggest names.

According to Ibeh, facing Joshua would be a dream come true but not an impossible task. The fighter explained that he is fully prepared for such a challenge and confident in his ability to secure victory. “I’m ready for him anywhere,” he said. “If it happens in Nigeria, all the better. I’ll knock him out, no questions about that.”

The 28 year old boxer, who has maintained a strong record with several knockout wins, said his goal is to represent Nigeria proudly and prove that local fighters have what it takes to compete globally. He also urged promoters to consider staging the bout in Nigeria to boost the country’s image in international boxing.

Reports suggest that Anthony Joshua’s management team is exploring possible venues for his next major fight, with Africa, especially Nigeria and Ghana, among the options being discussed. Ibeh has therefore called on promoters to make the event happen, assuring fans that he will deliver an exciting performance.

“Anthony Joshua has done a lot for boxing, but I believe it’s time for a new generation to rise,” Ibeh added. “If I get that opportunity, I’ll give it my all. Nigerians deserve to see a fight of that magnitude here at home.”

Sports analysts believe that if the fight is arranged, it would be one of the most anticipated heavyweight clashes in Africa’s history. Fans have already begun reacting online, expressing excitement over Ibeh’s confidence and Joshua’s possible return to African soil.
