Jadon Sancho, originally from Manchester, is set to make a temporary return to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, after facing challenges in his current stint with the Mancunian team.

The Bundesliga side has reportedly secured an agreement with Manchester United for the 23-year-old winger to join them on loan until the end of the season.

According to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano, the loan deal does not include a purchase option, making it a short-term arrangement. Dortmund will pay a fee of approximately 4 million euros along with a portion of Sancho’s salary for the loan period.

Sancho previously played for Dortmund from 2017 to the summer of 2021, where he gained recognition as one of the most promising players globally. His return to Signal Iduna Park is eagerly anticipated by fans and teammates who fondly remember the magic he brought to the team.

The London-born player amassed 137 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, contributing 50 goals and 57 assists before Manchester United acquired him for 85 million euros.
