Jude Bellingham Sent Off Late In The Dramatic Draw Against Valencia At The Mestalla

Jude Bellingham’s hopes of securing a winning goal for Real Madrid were dashed after he was controversially sent off for dissent following the final whistle in a thrilling encounter at Valencia.

Jude Bellingham was controversially sent off in Real Madrid’s draw against Valencia in a Spanish La Liga Contest.

Vinicius Jr, who endured racist abuse at Mestalla last season, showcased his resilience by netting twice to salvage a point for Real Madrid after they found themselves trailing 2-0.

Bellingham believed he had clinched victory for Real Madrid in stoppage time with a close-range header, only to have his celebrations cut short by referee Gil Manzano’s decision to end the game prematurely.

The contentious call sparked heated protests from Real Madrid players and staff, with Bellingham being shown a red card for his involvement in the protests. The incident marred Bellingham’s return to the side after a three-week injury layoff.

Valencia midfielder Mouctar Diakhaby suffered a worrying leg injury late in the game, further adding to the drama on the pitch.

Despite falling behind early in the game, Real Madrid displayed their resilience and fighting spirit. Vinicius Jr’s brace, including a fist-raising celebration directed at Valencia fans, helped Real Madrid claw their way back into the game.

Valencia, buoyed by their home record, initially seemed content to protect their lead, but Real Madrid’s relentless pressure eventually paid off when Vinicius Jr nodded in an equalizer from close range.

The draw extended Real Madrid’s unbeaten league run to 21 games and saw them maintain their position at the top of La Liga, although second-placed Girona still have a game in hand.

Valencia’s performance came amid a backdrop of tragedy, with the city mourning the loss of lives in a recent apartment block
