The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke has called on its commanders to recalibrate operations with a renewed focus on intelligence, precision, and coordination across all theatres.
At a high-level meeting held at NAF Headquarters in Abuja, Aneke urged commanders to “fly smarter and strike harder,” stressing the need to neutralize threats while protecting lives and properties.
The meeting aimed to harmonize strategies, reinforce inter-service cooperation, and ensure that the NAF remains a decisive instrument of national security. Aneke emphasized that current operations must be intelligence-driven and joint across air, land, and maritime domains for maximum impact.
He also reiterated the commitment to personnel welfare, training, and capacity development, noting, “Every airman and airwoman has a role to play in achieving our collective vision. I will ensure you are equipped, trained, and motivated to deliver results.”
The Air Chief further stressed discipline, professionalism, and humanity in the application of force, declaring that the NAF would deliver decisive action against threats while upholding ethical standards.
