President Bola Tinubu touched down at Kaduna International Airport on Friday, September 19, 2025, for a one-day official visit to the state.
He was warmly received by Governor Uba Sani, alongside federal ministers, senators, security chiefs, and other senior government officials.
During the visit, President Tinubu will attend the wedding ceremony of Nasirudeen Yari, son of Senator Abdul’aziz Yari (Zamfara West), and Safiyya Shehu Idris. He is also scheduled to pay a condolence visit to Aisha Buhari, widow of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, at her family residence in Kaduna.
Officials say the visit underscores the President’s commitment to maintaining close ties with state leaders and communities, as well as participating in important social and cultural events across the country. President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja later the same day after completing his engagements.
