JUST IN: The Voice’s Episode Start Time Is Changing For The Rest Of The Season

The long running singing competition show The Voice has announced that beginning with the episode airing on Monday, November 3, Season 28 will shift to a new time slot of Monday nights at 9/8 c on the NBC network.

In addition, the series will no longer air new episodes on Tuesdays for the remainder of the season.

This change comes as part of a broader adjustment during the Knockout rounds of the competition. Previously, the show had a two night format airing on Mondays and Tuesdays but with NBA coverage and other programming commitments, NBC has opted to streamline The Voice into a single weekly episode.

According to the official announcement, episodes will continue to be available for streaming the next day on Peacock. The restructure will shorten each episode to one hour during this phase of the competition instead of the previous multi hour format.

Season 28 features coaches Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg and Niall Horan, and the network says the adjustment helps the show build momentum as it heads deeper into its Knockouts and toward the Playoffs.

For fans of the show, this means one clear point of view each week: tune in Monday at 9/8 c, and stream the episode on Peacock the following day. Episodes will no longer premiere on Tuesdays in this phase of the season.
