Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has shared his thoughts on why many women are unmarried in their 30s.
According to him, the choices they made in their younger years are responsible for their singleness.
Kanayo stated that many women in their 30s spent their 20s dating married older men, while rejecting younger prospective husbands. He explained that these women often prioritize material comfort over the possibility of building a life with someone their own age.
In an interview with News Central, Kanayo said, “Some girls start dating rich, older men in university, and refuse advances from younger people because they feel they’re operating on a higher level.”
He continued, “By the time they’re 25, 26, and unmarried, they start to lose their appeal. At 31, they become desperate, and by 33, they’re in a state of emergency, praying for anyone to marry them.”
Kanayo’s comments have sparked a conversation about the choices women make in their younger years and how they impact their lives in the long run.
