As the clock struck 98 minutes at the City Ground, Liverpool seemed destined for disappointment, but Darwin Nunez headed home at the death to hand Liverpool a Crucial 3 Point in the title race. (Govima Sport Reports)

What was shaping up to be two points lost against relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest suddenly turned into a thrilling victory.

Darwin Nunez’s late strike sent Liverpool fans into a frenzy, propelling them to a dramatic 3-2 win and reclaiming their spot at the top of the Premier League table.

From despair to elation in a matter of minutes, this match could be remembered as a pivotal moment in Liverpool’s title chase come May.

It’s not the first time Liverpool has snatched victory from the jaws of defeat this season. Their ability to score late goals has become a trademark, with the win at Forest marking the fifth time they’ve taken the lead in the 85th minute or later.

Jurgen Klopp’s side has shown an unwavering belief in their ability to win, even when faced with adversity. Despite numerous injuries to key players, they’ve managed to grind out victories against top opposition.

Nunez’s winner, coming in the 99th minute, epitomized Liverpool’s never-say-die attitude. It was a display of resilience and determination that has been a constant theme throughout the season.

Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson praised Liverpool’s relentless spirit, noting that they never gave up despite not being at their best.

Liverpool’s ability to turn games around from losing positions has been remarkable, amassing 22 points in such situations this season.

With the title race heating up, Liverpool has proven they will fight until the very end. While there’s still a long road ahead, their never-say-die mentality could be the key to success.

As Robinson aptly put it, “You talk about champions, this is what champions
