He also confessed that he previously invented a story about his first producer calling him “Nasty Cat” as a way to honor the producer and give his stage name a narrative. “I made up the story because I wanted a backstory and to show respect to the person who helped me start my career,” Nasty C said.
Looking ahead, the rapper shared plans to change his stage name to “Ivyson,” inspired by the name of his late mother, Ivy, as a way to honor her memory.
