The MCC’s groundbreaking, data-driven development model has garnered attention for its effectiveness and cost-efficiency in addressing key constraints to growth in collaboration with low-income and lower-middle-income countries.
Sullivan highlighted MCC’s commitment to partnerships based on good governance, democracy, and investments in people.
Over the past two decades, MCC has made pivotal investments, such as supporting farmers and fortifying food systems, initiating critical policy reforms, enhancing the delivery of essential health services, constructing educational facilities, and providing training opportunities for educators, healthcare workers, and nearly half a million students.
The impact of MCC’s initiatives extends to climate-resilient infrastructure investments, including roads, water and sanitation, energy, and agriculture-related infrastructure in various countries.
With almost $17 billion in aid delivered to 47 countries across six continents, MCC has played a crucial role in lifting over 300 million people out of poverty.
The corporation’s projects have not only spurred economic growth in hard-to-reach communities but also contributed to the strengthening of democratic institutions on five continents.
