NFF Officially Unveils Newly Appointed Super Eagles Head Coach Éric Chelle.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officially introduced Éric Sékou Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles. In an event at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in the early hours of today.The unveiling marks a significant development in Nigerian football, heralding a new era for one of Africa’s most celebrated national teams.
Chelle, a 47-year-old Franco-Malian, was appointed following a thorough recommendation by the NFF’s Technical and Development Committee, which was then ratified by the federation’s Executive Committee. His unveiling took place at 11 AM in the media conference room, surrounded by football enthusiasts and media personnel eager to witness the dawn of this new chapter.
The former Mali coach brings a wealth of experience to the Super Eagles, having previously managed the Malian national team to the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
