Flamingos Secure Victory Over Liberia to Qualify for FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Nigeria’s Flamingos have triumphed over Liberia with a convincing 2-0 victory, thanks to a brace from Chidi Harmony. This win secures their qualification for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with an aggregate score of 6-1, having previously defeated Liberia 4-1 in the first leg in Monrovia on Sunday.

Chidi Harmony’s stellar performance in the qualifying series has been remarkable, finding the back of the net thirteen times. Her contributions have been pivotal in ensuring Nigeria’s place in the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from October 16 to November 3 in the Dominican Republic.

The Flamingos will look to build on their impressive performance from the last edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, where they finished third in India. As they prepare for the upcoming tournament, the team’s form and determination suggest they will be strong contenders.

Spain, the defending champions, will also be competing in the tournament, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.
