Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji, will deliver the keynote address at the 2025 Marketing Edge Annual National Marketing Summit and Brands & Advertising Excellence Awards (EDGE Awards) on Friday, 26 September 2025, at Balmoral Sheraton Event Center, Ikeja, Lagos.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, previously served as keynote speaker in 2021, presenting on “Rethinking the Blue Ocean Strategy in Uncertain Times” and receiving the Outstanding Political Brand Icon of the Year Award.
Governor Oyebanji’s presentation, titled “Driving Economic Growth through Public and Private Sectors Collaboration”, will focus on how public sector efforts to ease business operations and create a conducive environment can drive national growth. He will also highlight the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in advancing infrastructure development.
As Ekiti State’s governor, Oyebanji will use the platform to promote tourism and showcase the state’s potentials in agriculture, education, and other sectors, positioning Ekiti as a prime destination in the digital age.
The EDGE Awards, now in its 13th edition, is recognized for celebrating excellence and innovation in marketing and advertising. The awards honor exceptional campaigns, outstanding brands, and professionals who have elevated standards in marketing communications.
The 2025 edition, themed “Excellence Beyond Borders”, aims to raise the benchmark in the recognition and awards industry while providing opportunities for engagement, marketing, and networking. Speaking on the theme, Publisher and CEO of Marketing Edge magazine, John Ajayi, noted that recent reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have catalyzed growth across multiple sectors, creating new expertise and opportunities in Nigeria’s dynamic market.
