The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has announced Team Nigeria’s readiness for the forthcoming Olympic Games in Paris.
In a statement released by the Federation’s Secretary General, Rita Mosindi, she expressed confidence in the readiness of the country’s athletes.
“Our athletes are showing remarkable focus, achieving personal and season bests, and ensuring Nigeria’s qualification for the five relays,” stated Mosindi.
She further assured that there is no reason for concern as the athletes are fully prepared and in excellent spirits for the upcoming challenges.
Currently, the home-based athletes are undergoing intensive training in camp in preparation for the World Relay scheduled to take place in the Bahamas next week.
