Nigerian singer Portable has challenged Pastor Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, over his 2025 prophecies.
Portable described the prophecies as lies, stating that they were meant to spread fear rather than faith.
During the church’s Crossover Service, Pastor Adeboye prophesied that 2025 would be an unforgettable year for Nigerians, with many facing challenges they cannot endure. He also warned that mockers would become louder and more aggressive, but many would not survive the year.
Portable disputed the prophecies, declaring that they would not apply to him or his family.
