President Bola Tinubu is set to address the nation in a broadcast on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 7 a.m., as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
The announcement was made on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement titled, October 1st 2024 Independence Day: President Tinubu addresses the nation.
The broadcast will be aired on television and radio, with media outlets encouraged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for live coverage.
This nationwide address forms part of the celebrations commemorating Nigeria’s independence.
