Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has revealed how a friend’s malicious allegations led to the collapse of her marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, also known as Jago.
In an interview with colleague Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke shared that her friend falsely told Jago she planned to leave him for prostitution and had an affair with a senator, even claiming she slept at the senator’s house with their daughter, Fife.
Ronke denied these allegations, stating she was financially struggling when her marriage ended, with many personal belongings taken away.
Jago later regretted believing the false claims, Ronke added.
“When it happened… my partner later realized he shouldn’t have listened… A friend told him I wanted to leave him for prostitution… I sent him a picture; God gave me grace… I recorded it… When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000… All my jewelry was taken away.”
