Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has shared a message from a woman scammed by someone posing as him online.
Victoria Yemisi Ayano was defrauded of N33 million by a man named Bolanle Azeez, who allegedly used TikTok to impersonate Ninalowo and convince her to send money.
Ninalowo warned the public to be cautious, stating that he has never received the N33 million in question and is not involved in any online scams. Ayano had petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the incident.
The actor’s warning serves as a reminder to be vigilant when interacting with strangers online. As the EFCC investigates the matter, Ninalowo’s experience highlights the importance of verifying identities and being cautious of unsolicited requests.
