Comedian Seyi Law has joined the conversation on the impact of former Super Eagles player Obafemi Martins.
The discussions surrounding Martins followed a viral video of the player expressing his confidence in his abilities.
Seyi Law stated that Martins was not celebrated enough during his time on the field, describing it as sad. He referred to the popular football game Winning Eleven as an indication of Martins’s football skills and ability on the pitch.
Seyi Law said: “The disrespect on Obafemi Martins is so sad. You couldn’t have played Winning Eleven on PS2 and talked down on him. ObaGoal, take your accolade.”
He added that many only knew of Martins’s holidays in Lagos and didn’t recognize his power on the field. Seyi Law placed Martins side-by-side with Inter Milan’s striker Adriano, saying he had everything a soccer player needed.
