NPFL side, Sunshine Stars of Akure have unveiled Kennedy Boboye as their new team Manager.
Kennedy Boboye is making a return to Sunshine Stars after his first stint with the club back in 2015-2016 football season.
Boboye will now oversee the affairs of the Akure based club, following the sacking of Edith Agoye last month.
The Akure Gunners likewise announced the appointment of other technical crew members
Former Nigeria U-23 international, John Gaadi will work as the new goalkeeper trainer.
Kennedy Boboye while speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Akure said:
” I’m glad I’m back home, Sunshine stars remain in my heart, with God and the collective support of everyone we shall succeed and achieve the desired results.”
Meanwhile former club captain and Nigeria international Godfrey Oboabona has also returned to the Akure Gunners. Oboabona who led the team to continental football as club captain during his time, has now rejoined the club as a free agent after his quest in Europe.
