Super Falcons defender, Nicole Payne has moved back to the US to join American club, Portland Thorns FC on a season-long loan deal from PSG
Nicole has been limited to just few appearances since signing for the French side, with regular playing time hard to come by since her move to Paris Saint-Germain from University of South California last year.
The left-back has now moved to Thorns FC in search of regular playing time.
The 23-year-old has been limited to just four appearances for PSG so far this season.
Nicole Payne has seven caps to her name for Nigeria and she’ll be looking forward to more. With this loan deal in Portland, she could regain her confidence and consistency which will ultimately be of good benefits for her career.
Her elder sister, Toni, is likewise a regular member of the Super Falcons.
