Speaking to reporters, Trump declined to specify the nature of the consequences, stating only that they would be significant if Putin does not commit to halting hostilities. The warning follows a virtual meeting with European leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and French President Emmanuel Macron, where Trump expressed support for a ceasefire as a priority.
