Popular Nigerian comedienne, Anita Asuoha, better known as Warri Pikin, has issued a playful but firm warning to fans and followers who keep asking when she is due to deliver her baby.
In a humorous video shared on her Instagram page, the comedian was seen playfully scolding her daughter, who asked, “When are you giving birth?” Warri Pikin noted that the question had become too frequent from fans and close associates and said she wanted everyone to take her message seriously.
“When people can’t stop asking you, ‘When are you giving birth?’ This na general warning to all of una wey dey always ask me. Real Warri Pikin, ‘When you dey born nau?’ You go collect wetin nor good,” she said in the video, mixing humor with her characteristic Pidgin English.
The entertainer, who first revealed her pregnancy in June during Father’s Day celebrations, is expecting her third child with her husband, Ikechukwu Asuoha. Her announcement had attracted an outpouring of excitement and congratulations from fans across the country.
Recently, she also disclosed the gender of her unborn baby through a private gender reveal video shared on her Instagram page, confirming that she is expecting a baby girl.
Warri Pikin’s lighthearted message, however, serves as a reminder to fans to respect personal boundaries, even when updates about celebrities are highly anticipated.
