Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has lashed out at his brother, Linc Edochie, for advising him to keep his marriage private.
In a recent interview, Linc cautioned Yul, saying, “Everybody has the right to live as they shall… but one man’s right to swing his hand ends where another man’s right to protect his nose begins.” He also urged Yul to remove his marriage from social media, stating, “People need to realize… the moment there’s a glitch, they’ll bury you alive.”
However, Yul took to Instagram on November 6, 2024, and responded angrily, saying, “Ndi ‘keep your marriage off social media’ kwenu! Ndi ala” (meaning “Thunder fire you” in Igbo).
Yul’s outburst comes after he faced criticism for his marriage to second wife Judy Austin. Linc’s advice seemed to be a plea to protect Yul from potential backlash.
Yul’s reaction implies he’s unwilling to hide his marriage, despite the controversy surrounding it.
