APC Tells PDP: Endorsements Surge Confirms Tinubu’s 2027 Win

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has hailed the growing wave of endorsements for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections, describing it as a clear signal of his “settled” re-election.

APC Spokesman Mr. Seye Oladejo, in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos, criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for dismissing these endorsements. PDP National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, in Abuja on Monday, had accused the APC of shopping for endorsements in a bid to secure support for Tinubu, claiming the ruling party was in panic mode.

Reacting, Oladejo said the broad support for Tinubu reflects public approval of his reforms. He remarked, “The only people in panic mode are those with an empty shell called a party.”

He added:
“Panic is when a party that once boasted of being ‘Africa’s largest’ is now reduced to an empty kiosk, preparing for a convention as if it were World War 3.

Panic is when members defect at the mere whisper of internal disagreement, scampering like headless chickens.

“If there’s any party on a shopping spree, it is the PDP desperately seeking presidential candidates as a reflection of its lack of depth. Today, the only news the so-called ‘largest political party in Africa’ looks forward to is which of its governors has crossed over to the ruling party. That is the true definition of panic.”

Oladejo emphasized that President Tinubu’s endorsements are not a result of panic but proof of his ongoing reforms, leadership, and courage that Nigerians admire—even recognized quietly by PDP sympathizers.

He added, “When a man is destined for the throne, even his enemies clap unwillingly.”

Oladejo criticized PDP for what he described as 16 years of wasted opportunities, contrasting it with Tinubu’s administration, which he said bears the heavy burden of reforms while PDP merely throws stones from the sidelines.

“For avoidance of doubt, every endorsement of President Tinubu is another confirmation that 2027 is a settled matter. PDP can only look forward to yet another humiliating defeat that highlights its irrelevance. For APC, the journey continues; for PDP, the panic continues. APC builds, PDP bleeds,” he concluded.

He warned that if PDP does not retrace its steps, it risks losing what remains of its political relevance.
