Bayern Munich continued their strong run in the Bundesliga with a comfortable 3-0 win over ten-man Borussia Mönchengladbach, keeping them five points clear at the top of the league table.
The defending champions dominated the encounter from start to finish, capitalizing on Gladbach’s early setback after a red card that left the hosts struggling to compete.
The game took a difficult turn for Gladbach in the 18th minute when Jens Castrop was sent off for a reckless studs-up challenge, forcing his side to play more than 70 minutes with ten men. Bayern quickly seized control of possession and dictated the tempo, pushing Gladbach deep into their half as they searched for a breakthrough.
After several missed chances, the breakthrough finally came in the 64th minute. Captain Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring with a precise finish after a sustained spell of Bayern pressure. His goal lifted the visitors’ confidence and set the tone for what would become a one-sided second half.
Just five minutes later, substitute Raphael Guerreiro doubled the lead with a composed strike following a well-timed pass from Leroy Sane. Gladbach, already on the back foot, found it difficult to contain Bayern’s fluid attacking play as the champions continued to press for more goals.
Teenage forward Lennart Karl added a third in the 81st minute, marking his first-ever Bundesliga goal and sealing another dominant victory for the Bavarians. The young striker’s goal was met with applause from teammates and fans alike, highlighting Bayern’s depth and attacking quality across all positions.
With this victory, Bayern have now recorded their 13th straight win in all competitions, maintaining an unbeaten run that reinforces their status as title favorites. Meanwhile, Gladbach’s struggles continued as they extended their winless streak to 15 league matches, leaving them rooted near the bottom of the table and under increasing pressure.
