The spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, APC PCC, Festus Keyamo, has highlighted how the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, destroyed itself.
Keyamo said the inordinate ambition of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar helped destroy the opposition party.
Subsequently, Atiku emerged as the PDP presidential candidate defeating Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State in the presidential primary election.
However, Keyamo tweeted: “It is now safe to say that the failure of PDP to respect the country’s zoning formula plus Atiku’s inordinate ambition, destroyed PDP. Simple.”
Atiku lost to the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in last Saturday’s presidential election.
