An accident involving an upturned loaded truck has brought traffic to a standstill on Otedola Bridge, Ojodu Berger, Lagos State.
The incident occurred on Tuesday and has led to significant congestion for commuters travelling towards Lagos/Ibadan Expressway and Ojodu Berger, exacerbated by flooding on the bridge.
In response to the situation, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), has initiated efforts to clear the roadway by removing the overturned truck. “A fatal accident involving an upturned loaded (wheat), truck that has taken a lane on Otedola bridge in Ojodu Berger.
Traffic is a bit slow due to the flooded portion of the bridge.
“Effort is on for the recovery of the contents and the truck from the road,” LASTMA said via its X handle.
