Amaju Pinnick the former NFF president and present CAF/FIFA board member is optimistic Nigeria can win trophies under Jose Peseiro
Recall that In a bid to win trophies for Nigeria, the former NFF president went as far as meeting with many respected names including former Chelsea Boss, Jose Mourinho, to assist him in getting a good coach for Nigeria.
Fortunately, Jose Peseiro was recommended by the special one who is a specialist in winning trophies.
In his words, Pinnick said:
“Football is the only language these days that unifies Nigeria as a country with over 400 different ethnic groups and 2 major religions it’s time for a trophy specialist to step in and take the wheels to ensure Nigeria wins AFCON and bring unity to the seemingly divided fold”

“Presently, with the crop of players Nigeria is producing and consistently performing at their various clubs in Europe, PESEIRO have all things necessary to win trophies”
“We need joy, jubilation and happiness all over the streets,villages and war torn zones in Nigeria” Pinnick said.
Significantly , at this point PESEIRO should be the man to lead us to the promise land as Nigeria now awaits her semi-final opponent between South Africa and Cape Verde.
