Auwal Musa Gotal as been appointed as the new Chairman of Wikki Tourists… (Govima Sport Reports)
Auwal Musa who was formerly overseeing the affairs of the club on an interim basis as now been officially confirmed as the new chairman of the Bauchi based club.
His appointment was made known via a memo release by the office of the secretary to the state government.
The appointment was in recognition of Musa’s unwavering dedication and effectiveness in his role so far as the interim, which has now landed him the role on a permanent basis.
The Giant Elephants are top of the Northern Conference C table with 16 points.
Musa will be assisted by Alhassan Ishak Mohammed who will serve as member alongside Dauda Mohammed Chiroma and Umar Said
Also included in the team are; Lawal Garba Dass, Sadiq Yusuf, and Sa’adu Chadi who will serve as the club’s secretary.
The team is expected to resume duty with immediate effect in preparation for the second half of the league.
Wikki Tourists will take on Zamfara United when the second half of the season kick-off on February 14. And they will be hoping to continue where they left things before the season halted.
