NPFL: Matchday 20 Results All In As Remo Return To Summit Of The Table

NPFL second half of the season back in full swing with 7 fixtures across the nation. The results are all in and you can check them out below

NPFL 23/24 football season continues as Remo Stars played out a 0-0 draw with Abia Warriors on Sunday. The point earned by the Ogun State based club was enough to push them to the top of the table, following the loss of Lobi Stars to Plateau United in the other fixture.

Daniel Ogunmodede’s side currently have 36 points from 20 games.





While Lobi Stars dropped to second position after going down to a 2-1 defeat against Plateau United in Jos.

Mohammed Umar gave Plateau United the lead four minutes before the break, while Albert Hilary added the second in the 53rd minute.

Kumanga Suur reduced the deficit for the visitors three minutes later.

Elsewhere at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu, Rangers defeated Akwa United 1-0 with Kazeem Ogunleye netting the decisive goal three minutes after the break.

Meanwhile In Port Harcourt, Rivers United defeated Doma United 3-2 in a thrilling Sunday contest.

With Nyima Nwagua scoring an hat-trick for the home team, while Bidemi Owoku and Hilary Ekawu scored for Doma United in that encounter.
