veteran Nollywood actor Pa Zulu Adigwe has been reported deceased as of Tuesday evening. The sad news was confirmed by Stanley Nwoke, also known as Stanley Ontop, a survivor of a recent boat mishap and a prominent movie producer, who shared the announcement on Instagram.
Nwoke expressed deep sorrow as he conveyed, “I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, Late Mr. Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace, Good actor. Ontop Cares.”
Although the exact cause of Adigwe’s demise remains undisclosed, there are unconfirmed reports suggesting that the actor had been battling an undisclosed illness prior to his passing.
This sombre event follows closely on the heels of another tragedy just two weeks ago, when actor Junior Pope and four crew members lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River. They were reportedly en route to a filming location when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The passing of Zulu Adigwe adds to a growing list of losses within the Nollywood community over the past four months, further underscoring the fragility of life and the deep impact of such losses on the entertainment industry.
